ISHIMONDO OFFICIAL THINGS OUTSIDE OF THE CANON STORY

- Mondo nicknamed Ishimaru ‘panic prince’ on one of the magazine scans

- Mondo promised to make Ishimaru a house (+ Spike Chunsoft saying that they’ll both live together and fall in love if they both lived) (v3 side game + facebook)

- In the stage play, if a person voted the blackened wrong they will be executed as well. Knowing this rule Ishimaru voted for himself and got executed with Mondo. When Mondo asked why he did that, he answered “We’re brothers right?” That’s also his last words.

- In the draft, Ishimaru was supposed to die by suicide most likely because of Mondo’s death

where in Highschool Mondo falls in love with Kiyotaka and confesses to him, Kiyotaka feels the same towards Mondo but he explained that he’s still not ready for a relationship because there’s still a lot he needed to learn and asked if he would wait for him,which Mondo accepted. Even when they’re not dating, they still shower each other with affection such as kisses on cheek, holding hands, cuddling, etc and even occasionally say that they love each other. This went on until they were in college, Ishimaru had to go overseas for college which means he and Mondo had to part for a few years, Mondo didn’t take it well but he still came to the airport to give Kiyotaka a proper goodbye which he gave him his old Biker Jacket and a promise ring which he said holds the words to the first time he told him he loved him, that he one loves him with all he has and that two he’ll wait for him.Kiyotaka becomes emotional, hugged him, and told him to please wait for him until he gets back. Mondo told him that its a man’s promise And with that Ishimaru left.

While Kiyotaka was in college he couldn’t really get in touch with Mondo a lot, and vice versa since they were both too busy to keep in contact & the fact that international calls were way too pricey & that Kiyotaka wasn’t able to get into the internet that often. Their relationship grew further and further apart. By the time he graduated college and on his way to get back to Japan, he remembered his relationship with Mondo and worry how he’ll react when he comes back. Kiyotaka still wore his promise ring on his finger, he never took it off but he worries that Mondo himself may have forgotten about him.

Kiyotaka came back to Japan expecting his father to pick him up, but what he saw was Mondo holding a huge bouquet and coming towards him. Kiyotaka immediately ran to him and hugged him tightly. He began to cry and explained how he thought Mondo had forgotten all about him and left him for another person. Mondo shook his head and caress Kiyotaka’s cheek because he’ll never forget someone like Kiyotaka and he made a man’s promise already and he would never break it. Kiyotaka smiles and they both leaned in and kissed each other. Which was their first kiss together after all of those years of being together.

“Thank you for waiting all those years for me Mondo, I love you.”
